Job Summary
Manage warehouse logistics for the CTOM program by receiving, shipping, and tracking shop equipment, tools, and supplies using inventory management software and UPS WorldShip. Inspect items for damage during receiving and shipping, research serial numbers and status details, and maintain accurate inventory through weekly parts checks and monthly cycle counts. Resolve pending shipments with locations, prepare used tools for sale or disposal, and ensure a clean, safe environment using 5S methodology. Build rapport with vendors to reduce costs while ensuring defect-free, on-time deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management software (IMS)
- Experience with UPS WorldShip software
- Ability to build and maintain a positive rapport with various vendors
- Ability to ensure suppliers deliver orders defect-free and on time
- Knowledge of 5S methodology
- Knowledge of Lean methodology
