Job Summary
Experienced Tool Maker/Fixture Maker needed for 1st and 2nd shifts at Hi-Tek Manufacturing. Responsibilities include construction, repair, maintenance, and calibration of dies, jigs, fixtures, and gages; operating toolroom machines (mills, lathes, grinders, saws); interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings; selecting materials and processes to meet design specifications; ensuring conformance to tolerances using precision instruments; reporting labor in ERP; complying with AS9100/NADCAP; maintaining a clean, safe workspace; collaborating with Engineering and Management; clocking consistent attendance and following PPE and company policies. Requires prior tool maker/machinist experience, aerospace environment preferred, and ability to work 3:30pm-12:00am on 2nd shift (also 1st shift available). EOE; ITAR compliance; salary range $25-$35/hour with overtime potential; Mason, OH location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience as Tool Maker or Machinist in aerospace/manufacturing
- Proficiency with toolroom machines (mills, lathes, grinders, saws)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, CAD drawings
- Strong shop math skills (geometry, trigonometry)
- Ability to maintain tolerances with precision measuring equipment
- ITAR compliance (U.S. person)
