Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain Slitter and counter knives, machine dies, and cassettes while adhering to safety procedures and predictive maintenance systems. Disassemble, clean, rebuild, and moderate repair knives, rewind shafts, and dies; track repairs, replace parts, and manage inventory. Monitor throughput and yield upsets, perform die or cassette replacements, and maintain Pack/Knife Room equipment including burnout ovens and inspection systems to 5S standards. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least 1 year of manufacturing equipment maintenance, tool & die, or machinist experience
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Work around varying temperatures
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Fitesa will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening
- Any offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
