Job Summary
Tool & Die Repair Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving precision tooling used in cold forming production; collaborates with Cold Forming Machinists, Engineers, Maintenance, and Production teams to reduce downtime, improve tool life, and support reliable automotive tooling; requires reading technical drawings and performing precision measurements; typical schedule is Monday–Friday starting between $22–$28/hour; high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in tool, die, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of tool, die, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to meet post offer testing requirements including background check, drug screen and the position's physical demand
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to perform precision measurements
