Tool & Die Maker – Jig & Fixture (Assembly Cells)

Job Summary
Build, assemble, modify, and repair jigs, fixtures, gauges, weld/assembly tooling, and die details for assembly cells. Diagnose tooling issues, perform root cause analysis on defects or downtime, and conduct preventative and corrective maintenance per established schedules. Machine components using manual and CNC equipment, then set up fixtures to achieve part quality and dimensional accuracy. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams on new programs and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 standards. Read blueprints, GD&T, and CAD drawings to guide modifications. Work Monday through Friday, 6AM-2PM, with availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays. Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety procedures, and support external tool builds as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Tool & Die apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- MUST be willing to work overtime/weekends/holidays as needed

Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Tool & Die, jig & fixture, or weld/assembly tooling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Automotive supplier experience a plus
- Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
- Forklift, crane, or lift equipment certification (or willingness to obtain)
