Job Summary
Tool and Die Maker who will manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling and dies. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, adjusting, and fabricating molds and tooling components from engineering drawings; operating surface grinders and milling machines; using precision measuring tools; supporting molding technicians to minimize downtime; determining modifications and repairs; handling hot runner mold systems and assisting with temperature control testing; maintaining documentation; adhering to safety, GMP, ISO, GDP, and Six Sigma/Lean practices; and promoting a safe, organized work environment. Required: technical school degree in Tool and Die Technology or equivalent training, 8,000 hours of tool-and-die machining experience, 3–5 years in the role, English reading of technical drawings, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Preferred: forklift certification and English-Spanish bilingualism.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school degree in Tool and Die Technology or equivalent training
- Minimum of 8,000 hours of documented experience operating tool and die machinery and equipment
- 3–5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker
- Ability to work rotating shifts with flexibility to meet operational needs
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and drawings in English
- Experience interpreting engineering blueprints and part specifications
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
