Tool Design Engineer

Evaluate customer requests and examine technical drawings to resolve design issues, assure product quality, and customer satisfaction. Provide technical assistance to customers as needed while researching new tooling concepts and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in existing tooling. Stay current with new software and manufacturing processes and work between internal departments to improve efficiency of manufacturing operations. Maintain and update existing tooling drawings during new job development. Some travel may be required as necessary. This role leads tooling design efforts within a customer interactive environment requiring dependable, punctual, and accountable execution.
