Job Summary
Conduct daily tool crib operations including inventory transactions, cycle counting, and vending machine system management. Perform basic grinding, identify specific defects, and escalate issues while utilizing job packets and print instructions to resolve problems. Maintain proper tool and gage storage, complete SIS requests, and execute 5S checklists to keep the area organized. Prioritize work among counter calls, rushes, and vendor tasks while balancing workload in a fast-paced environment. Operate in the 1st shift in Strongsville, Northeast Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 months manufacturing experience with a focus on inventory control or supply chain
- Mechanical skills and aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Basic shop math skills
- Capable of balancing workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic warehouse principles
- Competent in basic blueprint reading
