Job Summary
Inspect tools for damage, cleanliness, and proper operation before issuing or after receiving them, and coordinate repairs or replacements to ensure availability. Manage crib stock arrangements and inventory by conducting regular counts, reporting shortages, and preparing complete tool kits for manufacturing and assembly operations. Track tools and supplies, check incoming materials against paperwork, and maintain the storage area in a clean and orderly condition. Monitor tool usage to prevent loss or unauthorized removal while following all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures. Work with tooling suppliers and vendors to support production needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience as Machine Operator
- 1 year experience working within a Job Shop environment
- Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to follow and delegate work instructions and process
- Ability to learn new processes and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Effective verbal and communication skills
- Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Mathematical Skills Basic math skills (add, subtract)
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours
- Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and basic maintenance
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
