Job Summary
Inspect tools for damage, cleanliness, and proper operation before issuing or after receiving them, and perform minor repairs to maintain functionality. Manage crib stock arrangements by working from manufacturing schedules, operation sheets, and written requests to ensure timely access for production. Coordinate tool repairs or replacements, monitor usage to prevent loss, and prepare complete tool kits for various manufacturing and assembly operations. Maintain storage areas in clean, orderly conditions while conducting regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies. Check incoming materials against paperwork and prepare all related reports. Work all shifts including weekends and holidays in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience as Machine Operator
- 1 year experience working within a Job Shop environment
- Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to follow and delegate work instructions and process
- Ability to learn new processes and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Effective verbal and communication skills
- Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Mathematical Skills Basic math skills (add, subtract)
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours
- Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and basic maintenance
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
