Job Summary
Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt and enter data into computer software. Examine stock for specification conformance, mark items with identifying codes, and store supplies by determining proper methods based on temperature, humidity, weight limits, and turnover. Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and issue supplies while processing appropriate paperwork. Utilize a forklift to unload trucks or put stock away as required. Maintain the crib floor and shelves clean and orderly. Support TS-16949 and ISO-14001 initiatives and comply with environmental, health, and safety system requirements. Work within the plant environment adhering to PPE requirements. Six months to a year experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Competence in personal computer
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, e-mail)
- Familiar with other database related software
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Industrial machine components or a mechanical background
