Tool Crib Assistant

Manage the tool crib by receiving, storing, and issuing fixtures and machine tools while maintaining accurate records. Prepare tool holders from tool sheets, locate misplaced equipment, and ensure the area remains clean and orderly. Assess tools for defects or wear using micrometers, report damage to the supervisor, and adhere to the FOD program. Handle all equipment to prevent damage or compromise integrity. When work is light or other departments need support, assist with cleaning, operator tasks, manual machining, or in-process inspection. Communicate concerns regarding production, safety, and quality to the immediate supervisor.
