Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and execute development fabrication work based off assembly and part drawings; collaborate with partner teams when tooling projects need specialized resources; ensure adherence to project schedules and provide updates to stakeholders; apply strong knowledge of machining and fabrication fundamentals to enable safe, efficient, and repeatable outcomes in a dynamic development environment; proactively identify design risks, fabrication constraints, and process inefficiencies, using hands-on expertise and sound judgment to recommend design adjustments; perform all work in accordance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience fabricating tooling or maintaining equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing materials
- GD&T
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machines (e.g., mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal bending)
- Nice to have: Knowledge of fixture design and stack-ups analysis
