Tool Application Specialist

Job Summary
Direct interface with end-users and internal teams to provide technical tool support, address product inquiries via phone and site travel, and investigate field installations. Collaborate with Design Teams on new product initiatives, cost reduction, and redesigns while coordinating beta site feedback and evaluating product returns. Educate customers and jobsite personnel on proper tool operation, maintenance, and installation techniques using Victaulic literature. Serve as an internal and corporate resource for product issues, representing customer needs while driving enhancements to work instructions and documentation. Continually update knowledge of Victaulic and competitive products to support sales and engineering efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, operate, and explain mechanical systems and tools
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain language for jobsite personnel
- Direct customer facing experience in a field service, technical support, or similar capacity
- Electrical diagnostic ability, including familiarity with PLCs and general electrical troubleshooting
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel up to 35% nationally and internationally on occasion
- A degree in a Technical field, or equivalent hands-on field experience
