Job Summary
Maintain accurate, real-time inventory of hand tools, powered tools, test equipment, and specialty fabrication tools while managing check-in/check-out systems and tool tracking. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration for test instruments and powered equipment, coordinating external calibration services as required. Source, purchase, and maintain vendor relationships for tools, parts, and consumables, managing tool budgets and tracking cost trends. Oversee the training and development of Tool and Equipment Coordinators on various job sites. Assist with shipping and receiving as needed. This role ensures crews and prefabrication teams have the right, safe, and calibrated tools to keep projects on schedule and compliant with quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial tools and equipment
- 3+ Years of equipment or tool inventory tracking experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- climb ladders and stairs
- stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours
Desired Qualifications
- Toolhound, RefTab, or other tool system program experience
- Effective at communicating with multiple teams
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
