Tool and Die Maker

Repair, maintain, and improve all tools and fixtures while operating bridgeport mills, lathes, and surface grinders. Assemble and disassemble tooling, dies, and gauges; troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems. Assist in machine repair, changeovers, setups, and operation as required. Work with various materials including tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper. Demonstrate ability to use hand measurement tools and interpret tooling drawings. Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment. Journeyman's certification and/or equivalent experience required.
