Tolling Operations Manager

Job Summary
Tolling Operations Manager summarizes and oversees end-to-end corn seed processing operations—from harvest through conditioning, treatment, packaging, storage and shipment—while managing tolling partners, processing plants, quality systems, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production strategy and customer commitments. The role drives operational excellence, ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards, leads and develops processing teams, and monitors KPIs such as recovery rates, throughput, processing efficiency, on-time delivery, safety performance, and inventory accuracy. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in seed production/processing or plant operations; SAP/ERP experience; knowledge of HSE and quality management systems; and strong leadership with cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Seed Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations or related field
- 5+ years of experience in seed production, seed processing, plant operations, manufacturing or agricultural supply chain
- Experience managing tolling/outsourced production preferred
- Corn seed processing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of seed conditioning and processing technologies
- Understanding of HSE and quality management systems
- SAP/ERP experience preferred
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience advantageous
- Strong leadership and communication skills
