Job Summary
Be the face of toll collection operations at Parkersburg Memorial Bridge facilities by assisting customers with new account setup, payment processing, and general inquiries. Manage in-person customer interactions regarding toll activities and complaints, while also handling incoming phone calls to resolve issues. Process payments using back-office systems and complete end-of-day deposits and balancing reports. Collaborate with customer service professionals to improve overall customer experience. This entry-level, on-site role requires adherence to attendance and schedule requirements, including shifts that may include weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with data-entry utilizing a computer
- The ability to read and speak English fluently
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work shifts that will likely include weekends
- Cash handling experience on a computerized system
- The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
- An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation
- Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
