Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for the overall classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment; implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children; create a safe space for play and learning; regularly communicate with parents through mobile apps and discussions; collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals; build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic environment where play and learning occur together; required knowledge includes developmentally appropriate practices (DAP); CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
