Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for managing the classroom, mentoring less experienced teachers, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, and implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum across Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool. Responsibilities include modeling behaviors, providing feedback, maintaining a growth-mindset culture, communicating regularly with parents via mobile apps and discussions, supporting center enrollment/engagement goals, and building strong relationships with families and staff to create a dynamic learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
