Job Summary
Toddler Teacher responsible for creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment for toddlers, leading activities, and supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum to meet individual needs, serve as a positive role model, mentor less experienced teachers, manage daily routines, and build strong relationships with families through regular communication. Collaborate with center leadership and educators to support enrollment, family engagement, and center success, while maintaining compliance with state licensing requirements and company policies. A successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, strong communication and organizational skills, and a passion for early childhood education.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP)
- Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred
