Job Summary
Lead Toddler Teacher coordinating daily operations of assigned classes; plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment; work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service; observe children’s interests and collaborate with other teachers to develop an engaging curriculum; communicate with parents daily about children’s adventures and achievements through mobile apps and discussions; ensure classroom ratios, safety, and ongoing professional development; no nights or weekends; supports growth within a franchise system with strong emphasis on development and child well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Meets background check eligibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
