Job Summary
Collaborate with co-teachers to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials while supporting social-emotional development through play-based, age-appropriate activities. Assist with daily routines including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime, while maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment. Keep parents informed and build positive relationships with families, helping toddlers build independence, language, and confidence through patience and positivity. Track children's progress and complete required assessments, ensuring all professional development hours and PQ registry requirements are met. Work flexible hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, spending extended periods on the floor with the children. Required Qualifications
- EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience
- Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
- Flexibility to work 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
