Job Summary
Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-driven lesson plans for toddlers while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, supervising them during daily activities, meals, and rest time. Maintain open communication with parents regarding progress and keep accurate developmental records. Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive learning environment. Little Dreamers Learning Center Inc is dedicated to providing individualized care in a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children can thrive.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
- Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and best practices
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Patient, compassionate, and energetic demeanor with a genuine love for children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- CDA credential
