Job Summary
Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of toddlers and preschoolers; maintain open communication with parents by sharing daily milestones; ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines; provide support across classrooms or centers where teaching coverage is needed; comply with immunizations, health/safety training, and relevant policies; in-person work in the Moosic, PA area; role supports Bright Horizons’ CDA/degree pathways and ongoing professional development; role emphasizes early childhood education best practices and nurturing growth in young children.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
- College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
- 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
