Job Summary
Assist the teacher in developing and utilizing creative curriculum plans for toddlers aged 1.5–2.5 years, help establish weekly lesson plans, monitor developmental progress, support classroom activities, ensure safety and cleanliness, involve parents, document observations and assessments, provide input for conferences, and perform general staff duties within Head Start/TCLC program.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Achievement of education requirements from an institute of higher learning or previous experience that would qualify candidate as a Step 6 or higher on the Oregon Registry Online
- Employment is conditional pending immediate and continued enrollment in Child Care Licensing Division – Central Background Registry
- Employment is conditional pending current physical examination and TB screening documentation upon hire
- Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Documentation Required
