Job Summary
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children while implementing age-appropriate lesson plans. Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe learning space and support children's individual learning needs to encourage their social and emotional growth. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with no nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- 2 or 4 year degree
- current CDA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education and preschool settings
