Job Summary
Develop and plan a developmentally appropriate curriculum reflecting children's needs and interests using a Reggio-Emilia, play-based approach. Create and maintain a safe, clean classroom environment while implementing a nutritious snack program. Conduct comprehensive observations to document each child's growth and guide lesson planning aligned with California Foundations and NAEYC standards. Foster positive relationships with families through daily updates via Brightwheel and facilitate annual conferences. Maintain consistent routines to support transitions and self-help skills, while assisting with diapering, toilet learning, and hygiene practices. Monitor classroom supplies, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, and provide training to aides and volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 12 college-level units in Early Childhood Education, this includes the core course required by licensing

- 3 Infant/Toddler college-level units required for Infant/Toddler Teacher
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid qualified
- Mandated Reporter Certification or completed within one month of hire
