Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring fellow teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom across infants, toddlers, and/or preschool; implementing the LEAP Curriculum; creating a play-and-learn environment; communicating with parents about children's progress via apps and discussions; supporting enrollment and engagement initiatives; and collaborating with center staff to foster a dynamic, joyful learning community.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
