Job Summary
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum to engage toddlers and support their growth. Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment while supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards. Communicate daily progress and activities with families, observe and document learning to inform instruction, and model positive guidance strategies for social-emotional development. Collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers to foster a supportive team environment. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. No nights or weekends; competitive salary with health insurance and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and faculty members
