Job Summary
Coordinate daily operations for toddler classes aged 2.5 to 3 years by planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities in a safe environment. Observe children's interests to develop creative curriculum ideas and engage directly with young minds to nurture their development. Communicate with parents daily to share children's progress and achievements via mobile apps and personal discussions. Lift up to 50 lbs for child safety and program facilitation. Work full-time with no nights or weekends, supported by onsite faculty and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant & Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into & out of a crib
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous experience
- Associate degree or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA), if no Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Is dependable with attendance, adaptable & enjoys working together toward a common goal
