Job Summary
Lead Teachers are responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring less experienced teachers; managing the classroom to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment; delivering the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers; communicating with parents about children’s progress; and partnering with center staff to support enrollment and engagement. Roles require ECT qualification (CDA/Level Credential or higher), 1 year of teaching experience (6 months minimum), an associate degree or higher in ECE or related field (high school diploma/GED required), knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, and state-specific guidelines compliance. Required Qualifications
- Must be ECT Qualified (CDA, Level Credential, College Coursework, Experience Hours etc.)
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred. High school diploma/GED required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
- COVID Vaccinated
