Job Summary
Toddler and Preschool Teacher at The Learning Experience: manage the classroom to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment; serve as a role model to foster a growth mindset; implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum tailored for Kindergarten students; plan and deliver effective lesson plans and teaching strategies; use diverse modalities to engage students; maintain open communication with parents about progress via mobile apps and discussions; collaborate with center staff to support enrollment and engagement goals; build strong relationships with families and colleagues to create a harmonious environment where play and learning blend together.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of at least one year of professional teaching experience (two years preferred) in daycare, preschool, or kindergarten settings
- Willingness to work flexible hours, especially afternoons (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a CDA credential is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state-specific guidelines and possess required certifications for the role
