Job Summary
Toddler/Casa Aide provides classroom support in a Montessori Toddler environment by assisting with daily routines, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom, supporting transitions and activities, and supervising during the Extended Day period. Responsibility includes assisting with snacks, meals, rest time, bathroom assistance, and sanitizing materials; supports the Lead Guide and models respectful communication with children and adults. Requires completion of DHS Rule 3 orientation, background check, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and willingness to work a full 8-hour day on-site in St. Paul, MN. Adequate training in DHS/OSHA, ability to collaborate with team, and a commitment to a safe, nurturing environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must complete required DHS Rule 3 orientation before working directly with children
- Must pass a DHS background study
- No prior experience required; experience in early childhood or Montessori settings preferred
