Job Summary
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years while creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and curriculum. Develop engaging classroom activities based on children's interests and learning styles, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment. Partner with families to support each child's growth and development, communicating effectively regarding milestones and daily progress. Collaborate with support staff and leadership to maintain classroom ratios and flow, helping create a true home-away-from-home for children and families. Inspire creativity, confidence, and social-emotional growth in young learners. Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Career Pathway Level 3
- Must meet all state requirements for child care employment
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
