Job Summary
Examine, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals. Interpret practitioner referrals, perform complete patient evaluations, and develop thorough treatment plans including goals, reevaluation, and discharge criteria. Execute treatment programs with necessary modifications while assessing patient response, delegating to support staff, and documenting progress and outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff regarding treatment and education. Manage secondary assignments and handle charging system duties. Requires a Physical Therapy degree, current Alabama license, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple Alabama locations.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alabama
- Excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Outstanding organizational and writing skills
- Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
- Proven positive, teamwork attitude in work history
