Job Summary
Monitor Cingularity's global network and video services using tools like Nimbra Vision and Zabbix, ensuring flawless delivery of live broadcast content. Execute live transmissions, routing, and check-in procedures while proactively identifying and resolving network and service issues to minimize disruption. Participate in a hybrid follow-the-sun support model, contributing to incident management, root cause analysis, and the continuous improvement of TOC workflows. Assist in implementing bespoke customer solutions, including device configuration and core network upgrades for DTM and IP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Broadcast Engineer with excellent network knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Broadcast environments and workflows
- Familiarity with maintaining and operating transmission equipment, including encoders, decoders, and video routers
- In-depth knowledge and experience of TCP/IP Stack, including switching, routing, and multicast
- Proficiency in Office 365 or G-Suite, with excellent working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proven record of providing an exceptional customer experience
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain focused under pressure
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to follow and develop operational processes to a high standard
- Drive to build their knowledge and skills on existing and emerging technologies
- Self-motivated and organised individual
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours as required to cover sporting events
- International travel will be required at least once a year to support our global team
- Engineers do not work hours between 00:00 and 07:00

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Net Insight portfolio, including experience on the MSR platform
- Experience with standard routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Experience in video and audio encoding technologies and parameters
- Knowledge of fibre optical technologies with experience in deployments and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Added MacOS
- Experience with booking systems and/or automation systems
- A degree in engineering, telecommunications, or a related field
- Python scripting experience
