Job Summary

TOA, Student Success Coordinator at a school site for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal for Student Success, this role supports the campus in creating safe, supportive environments by responding to discipline referrals, conducting root-cause analysis, and identifying student needs. Collaborates with campus administration and the Student Support Team to implement targeted interventions, supports, and consequences, and to address student behavior through PBIS and the Student Code of Conduct. Develops academic, behavioral, social and emotional intervention plans with goals and timelines in partnership with families and school teams. Involves monitoring intervention progress, participating in trainings, and contributing to campus-wide capacity-building through the Office of Student Success and the Student and Family Services Division. Requires a Bachelor's (Master's preferred), an Arizona Teaching or Professional Non-Teaching Certificate, and at least five years of relevant experience (three years teaching). Strong data-analysis skills (Excel/Data Warehouse), effective communication with diverse stakeholders, and familiarity with educational technology and instructional supports are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
  • Possesses an Arizona Teaching Certificate or an Arizona Professional Non-Teaching Certificate
  • A minimum of five (5) years of teaching, counseling, behavioral intervention, and/or equivalent professional work
  • Three (3) of the five (5) years must be teaching experience (High school experience preferred)
  • Documentation of training or formal education in practices/systems that address research-evidenced academic and behavior interventions (PBIS, Trauma-informed de-escalation strategies, restorative practices)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience/participation in strategic planning and implementation, committee oversight, and/or other program management
  • Experience communicating with campus administrators, teachers, support staff, students, parents, and district level staff
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, digital equipment and related software or internet-based programs
  • Demonstrates a command of data analysis skills using Excel and/or Data Warehouse to track groups of students for early warning signs and trends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
