TO Pharmacy Technicican FT

Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations. Assist in dispensing prescription and non-prescription pharmaceuticals and supplies; enter prescriptions and medication orders into the computer; verify eligibility and assist with billing; educate patients on medications; place and track orders for pharmaceuticals and supplies; maintain inventory, record keeping, and confidentiality under HIPAA; ensure compliance with theft/drug-diversion policies; maintain controlled substances records; use Rx30 and Greenway Entergy EHR software to review patient data and labs; deliver medications to patients; and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Requires High School Diploma or GED and a Michigan Pharmacy Technician License; preferred qualifications include one year of pharmacy experience and related certifications.
