TNN2 Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Ensure safe and efficient movement of product throughout the system by working in weld, press, and warehouse areas to move material from storage to designated work areas. Stage dies for changeovers, unload inbound trailers with empty dunnage, and verify customer order matches against actual parts being moved. Report quality, production, or safety problems to the team leader and move non-conforming material to the MRB area. Maintain 5-S standards, complete daily tow motor checklists, and assist in physical inventories while adhering to TQPS principles. Available for overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass fork truck certification @ NASG
- Basic computer skills
- demonstrated basic math skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- 2 Years forklift experience preferably in manufacturing
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in safe material handling practices
- Ability to work with a dynamic and demanding team
- Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties
- Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Accountable - teachable - approachable
- Ability to learn, make decisions, and be creative & flexible
- Ability to problem solve
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Ability to stand up for a minimum of 8 hours
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language (English)
- Demonstrated basic computer skills Outlook, Excel, Word
- Available for overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred previous experience in assembly / manufacturing environment
- For the Mexico division this is preferred, not required
