Job Summary
Cut copper using saws, set up header punches, and operate T-drills or CNC machines to produce headers while adhering to blueprint specifications. Perform tool changes, load programs, and execute daily preventative maintenance on equipment. Identify, prioritize, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process while maintaining strict housekeeping and lockout/tagout safety protocols. Requires ability to move 50lbs, stand for 8-10 hours, and read blueprints. Must be able to work second shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 2nd
- Blueprint reading skills
- The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
- Detailed oriented
- Computer skill
- Good communication skills
- Ability to move at least 50lbs
- Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
- Wear the necessary PPE for the position
Desired Qualifications
- Machine operator experience is preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
