Job Summary
Provide leadership and oversight for campaigns, organizing, advocacy, and communications initiatives, ensuring high-quality design, implementation, and impact. Drive alignment across departments to deliver cohesive programs that build power for Tennessee's immigrant communities while leading program directors and coaching staff. Work with senior leadership to articulate and execute a vision for grassroots power, policy change, and systems reform through local, state, and federal program initiatives. Serve as a key media spokesperson and represent TIRRC with funders, partners, and coalitions to advance mission goals. Ensure timely completion of programmatic deliverables and grant-related reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Deep-rooted commitment to social justice and civic engagement
- Background in building power within member-centered organizations
- Proven track record of integrating racial justice principles and cultural competency into every level of work
- Over 5 years of program experience
- Skills at designing, planning, and executing programs
- Ability to balance strategic foresight with a disciplined approach to deadlines and organizational detail
- At least 2 years in a leadership position
- Ability to drive results across multiple teams
- Experience managing diverse departments
- Ability to foster accountability
- Ability to maintain transparent communication
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence
- Ability to remain a deeply collaborative partner to cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in project management and analytics tools
- Ability to use data to drive decisions
- Flexibility to adapt plans to meet the needs of the moment
- Must be based in Nashville, TN
- Must be available for relocation support
Desired Qualifications
