Job Summary
Facilitate groups and activities promoting recovery through education, advocacy, and positive role modeling. Assist clients in articulating personal recovery goals, identifying strengths, and determining steps to overcome barriers. Document peer progress in electronic medical records and attend all required trainings. Provide transportation via company van and assist with daily activities including meal preparation. Model a positive attitude while maintaining confidentiality and program ethics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Lived Experience with Mental Illness/ Substance Use Disorder
- Minimum of one year of recovery
- CPRS Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- F-endorsement (to be acquired within 30 days of hire)
- Completion of state-approved training program (or certification within 90 days of hire unless otherwise approved)
- Basic computer literacy
