TN CAS Technician (EIR Technician 3)

Job Summary
CAS startup and routine/non-routine O&M of CAS systems; CAS reactivation, deactivation, and/or decommissioning; involvement in Emergency Response projects; routine sampling (soil, water, etc.); monitoring well abandonment; installation/maintenance of skimmer pumps. Requires health and safety training, completion of sampling courses, and at least three years in environmental field work; TN CAS certification; HS diploma or GED; 5 years CAS system experience; willingness to travel daily/overnight for most projects; proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of TN TGD and RGD requirements for CAS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current health and safety training
- have completed appropriate sampling courses
- at least three (3) years of experience working in the environmental field as hazardous substance or UST sites
- All technicians must be high school graduates or have passed the GED
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience working on a CAS system
- Must be currently TN Certified CAS technician
- Must provide daily field reports and CAS logs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Must have knowledge of TN TGD requirements and RGD allowances regarding the operation and maintenance of liquid ring pump CAS systems
- Daily and/or overnight travel is required for 95% of projects
