Job Summary
Support the PMO Lead by maintaining accurate project data, analyzing milestones and budgets, and preparing insights for senior management. Ensure quality assurance on status reports and manage RAID logs to uphold governance standards. Act as the super-user for the Project Portfolio Management tool, maintaining templates and guidance documents. Provide administrative support including managing schedules, calendars, and handling onboarding and offboarding logistics for project managers. This role sits at the heart of the Technology & Insights directorate, enabling data-driven decision-making for vital projects.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in a PMO or similar environment
- Experience with a focus on project support
- Experience with data management
- Experience with quality assurance
- A solid understanding of project management principles
- Knowledge of project management documentation
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile
- Proficiency in data analysis software (such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
- The ability to collect, analyse, and interpret project data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to present data clearly to various team members
- The capacity to identify issues within project data or processes
- The capacity to suggest practical solutions
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to handle a variety of tasks
- The ability to schedule meetings
- The ability to manage IT access
- The ability to manage equipment allocation
- Flexibility to perform duties and other tasks within their capabilities
- The legal right to work in the UK
