Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned seniors under charge nurse supervision. Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, collect non-invasive body fluid specimens, and record vital signs. Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transfers, and range of motion exercises. Support food preparation and dining activities while documenting care outcomes, medication administration, and behavioral changes. Communicate resident condition updates and care concerns to the charge nurse. Perform housekeeping and laundry services to maintain living areas. Participate in wellness and recreational programs. Requires CNA and MN TMA licenses at hire; full-time day shift with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have CNA license and MN TMA license at time of hire
- Must have nursing assistant certification
- Must have completed the 75-hour course
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- Must successfully complete a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course
- Must satisfactorily complete yearly department specific competency testing
- Must maintain a record of continuing education credits for each year
- Must maintain a minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually
- Must maintain all department specific required certifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have auto insurance
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Minimum age of 18
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
