Job Summary
TL Maintenance B-Shift role overseeing a maintenance crew on a 4on/4off schedule in Mooresville, NC. Responsibilities include optimizing equipment reliability, facilitating troubleshooting, guiding preventive maintenance, tracking downtime, coordinating corrective maintenance projects, ensuring cost, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards, coaching and developing team members, collecting data for daily/weekly records, and participating in PM/MMOL/G5S activities while following EMS procedures. Requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years in leadership and 3+ years in engineering/industrial maintenance, strong reading/writing/speaking skills, and a broad technical background across maintenance disciplines, with a focus on reliability, problem solving, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum 3 years of experience engineering or industrial maintenance role
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished I written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form
- Working knowledge of maintenance/reliability concepts and theory
- Familiar with a wide range of engineering disciplines. Able to advise technicians in diagnosing equipment problems, replacing, testing, and adjusting components, and reading/interpreting manuals or work order
