Title Workday Technical Platform Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead a Workday Technical Platform Team through platform modernization initiatives and complex integrations. Own the technical strategy for Workday implementations, upgrades, and ongoing platform optimization while driving governance, security, and change management. Build and mentor global, remote teams; establish engineering best practices, KPIs, and collaboration with HR/IT/business leaders. Deep hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Orchestration, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and security configurations (SSO/MFA) to ensure scalable, auditable solutions. Focus on automation, AI integration, and continuous improvement to elevate platform maturity and minimize business disruption. Strong emphasis on translating new Workday capabilities into strategic opportunities, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and guiding deployment coordination, testing strategies, and release management.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in HCM systems, preferably Workday
- 3+ years of people management experience with a proven leadership track record
- Hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, Workday Extend/Orchestration, integration tools, and custom reporting capabilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to lead and mentor global technical teams through technology-driven transformation
- Experience with data management, security, and adherence to governance standards
- Familiarity with AI-enabled approaches and continuous platform modernization
