Job Summary
The Title & Recording Clerk supports the title department with orders, recordings, customer service, and assembling recording packages for county courthouse recordation. Responsibilities include opening title orders, preparing title policies, interpreting maps and Assessor’s records, proofreading and verifying documents, handling billing/invoices, receiving and recording payments, and coordinating with the courthouse to track recording progress. Prospective candidates should demonstrate accuracy, strong communication, organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; the role emphasizes documentation, recording packages, and support tasks to meet departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to type 50+ WPM
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Prioritizing and multitasking
