Job Summary
Read and examine property abstracts and surveys to determine conditions or restrictions on titles. Draft metes and bounds descriptions and assist in clearing title issues. Prepare title commitments using our state-of-the-art software system. Act as a leader within the company and perform all other duties assigned by management. This role requires 2+ years of title reading experience in New York and proficiency with MS Office. Mortgage Connect is a national mortgage service provider specializing in assisting lenders with diverse loan services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years title reading/clearance experience for New York
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must meet deadlines
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Proven customer service skills
- Proficiency with personal computers
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Proficiency with office equipment
- Must complete a pre-employment background check
- Must pass drug screening
- Must agree to adopt the company's cultural values
